Hi! I'm Sarah (she/her), and I am a daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. I love my career with Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley, where I work with people who are ready and excited to become homeowners in Washtenaw County. I also get to support partnerships and foster relationships with and among residents in Ypsilanti Township in my community engagement role, which happily brought me to working with Pastor Anna and Tajalli and learning about FedUp. My involvement with Habitat has led me to fall in love with the people of Guatemala through several trips where we build homes, smokeless stoves, and community with others. I am passionate about affordable homeownership and delicious, nutritious food and am excited to serve on the Board of FedUp.
I love being with my family and my cat Honey, reading, scrapbooking, doing jigsaw puzzles, planning my next ice cream event, supporting the Detroit Tigers, traveling, and spending time in the summer at my "heart home" in the Keweenaw Peninsula near Copper Harbor.
