Purpose Statement: To create an authentic space to come as you are, find belonging, exchange culture, and encourage each other through worship and shared meals
LiftUp was started as a way to uplift the spirits of our community members who live on the streets of Ypsilanti. We began this free breakfast and worship service with our partners at Growing Hope and their Downtown Farmers Marketplace location (16 S Washington St, Ypsilanti 48197). Though the program started on Thursday mornings, we've moved our service to Sundays.
Join us every Sunday of the month except the third Sunday - 10am Worship Service, 11am-1pm Brunch
*Every third Sunday of the month our partners at Peace House Ypsi host Around the Kitchen Table - a free community brunch from 11am-1pm. There is no LiftUp service on this day.
LiftUp is made possbile through a Vital Worship Grant from the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship, Grand Rapids, Michigan, with funds provided by Lilly Endowment Inc.
